Discussed briefly in the literature on psychological assessment instruments, the test is widely used in clinical practice to aid in the assessment of psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and other problem-solving models of human functioning.  In this paper, we discuss a number of important features of the test, including the test design, administration, scoring, and interpretive strategies. The article concludes with a brief discussion of additional applications of the test.Effects of tocainide on QT dispersion during recovery from acute ischemia-induced ventricular tachycardia. The antiarrhythmic effect of antiarrhythmic drugs during the acute phase of ischemia-induced ventricular tachycardia (VT) and the subsequent QT dispersion (QTd) has not been studied. In 12 patients, VT was induced by isoproterenol (0.01-0.04 microg/min) after atrial pacing, and was terminated by intravenous administration of tocainide (100 mg bolus and 25 mg/min), propafenone (400 mg bolus and 25 mg/min) or amiodarone (30 mg bolus and 6 mg/min). All patients subsequently had induction of VT. During the acute phase, QTc and QTd were measured and the effect of tocainide on the duration of the QTc and QTd and the relative dispersion of the QTc (DeltaQTcd) was studied. During the acute phase of VT, there was no difference in QTc (433+/-22 ms vs. 421+/-23 ms) or QTd (80+/-16 ms vs. 79+/-15 ms) among the three agents, but the DeltaQTcd during the acute phase of VT was significantly less with tocainide (24+/-13 ms) than with propafenone (55+/-27 ms, p
